Hotel Sacacomie has always prioritized the comfort of its guests and personnel. 
Here’s a list of measures we are committed to apply:

Our Team members

  • All our employees are committed to respect our very strict hygiene rules including regular hand washing
  • A strict protocol in case of symptoms is in place
  • All employees will wear the personnel protective equipment recommended
  • If any member of our team has reason to believe he or she could be affected or has been in contact with a person affected by Covid-19 strict procedures are in place to avoid any contact with guests or staff

Common areas

  • For your safety, until further notice, the entire hotel and installations are exclusively reserved for guests residing at the hotel (with room reservations)
  • Public washrooms will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis
  • Various hand disinfection stations have been added and placed at your disposition. We invite you to use them on a regular basis
  • Our elevators are available to use but restricted to one person at a time or for guests residing in the same room
  • The elevators are sanitized on a regular basis.
  • Access to our staircases will be one way at a time with one guest or guests of the same room.
  • Newspapers will not be available
  • Some decorative objects have been removed.
  • The hotel gift store will be closed for the moment

Upon arrival

  • Immediately after entering the hotel, you will be asked to disinfect your hands.
  • Note that wearing of a mask is mandatory when you circulate in the common areas of the hotel from July 18, 2020.
  • Protective screens are installed where recommended
  • Our front desk agent will explain the various sanitary measures in force, that you should have received prior to your arrival by email:
  • Hand antiseptic cleanser will be available at the front desk.
  • The front desk agent will ask a few health questions at the check in
  • Guests are advised to practice social distancing by standing at least 2 m away from other guests not traveling together with them.
  • The terminal will be disinfected after each use
  • The room keys are disinfected before and after each use.
  • Room servicing will not take place during your stay. Servicing is available though at a cost of $50.00 and must be schedule 24 hours in advance.
  • Our bellman service will not be available for the moment. Luggage carts will be at your disposition for use. We thank you for bringing them back to the front desk as soon as you are done. They will be disinfected after each usage.
  • Your invoice will be sent to you by email the night prior to your scheduled departure. We kindly ask that your review the charges.  The credit card provided upon your arrival will be used as the official payment method.

Your room

  • We already use high performance deep cleaning and disinfection products
  • The renewal of your towels and amenities will be available upon request. Do not hesitate to ask one of our front desk agents.
  • We removed from the rooms all of the extra pillows and throws, the ironing board and iron, pen and paper, envelops, glass and cups etc.
  • Coffee machine and supplies will be available. Single use cups will be provided.

The restaurant

  • Our dining room and terrace will be open only for in house guests with a room reservation, following the Government safety recommendations.
  • Reservations are required for dinner service. You will be invited, at check in, to plan your dinners and make reservations at the restaurant.
  • Tables, chairs and hard surfaces are disinfected after each use.

The GEOS spa

  • Until further notice, the access to the GEOS Spa will be exclusive to our in house guests with a room reservation.
  • A protective screen has been installed at the GEOS front desk
  • Guests will be offered antibacterial gel prior to entering the spa.
  • A proper shower will be required you enjoy our installation. We ask you to take your shower in your room as our changing rooms will be closed until further notice.

The Pool

  • You will be welcomed to enjoy our indoor pool by following the social distancing measure;
  • A social distance of 2 meters (6 feet) is required with other guests
  • The pool chairs are disinfected on a regular basis
  • A proper shower will be required you enjoy the pool. We ask you to take your shower in your room as our changing rooms will be closed until further notice

Massages

  • The spa will be exclusive to our guests in house with a room.
  • Every guest with a spa treatment appointment will be asked to take a shower in your room before and after the appointment.
  • The list of our spa treatments has been reduced for the moment.
  • Guests will be given a single-use mask upon arrival to wear during their massage.
  • Hand hygiene is crucial, and massage therapists must wash their hands in the guest’s presence when entering and leaving a massage room.
  • Every massage room is completely sanitized in accordance with a strict protocol based on INSPQ recommendations.
  • The massage therapists will wear Personal Protective Equipment (mask-visor).
  • Sheets, blankets, headrests and pillows will be changed between each client.
  • The agent at the spa will ask every guest with an appointment to complete a covid-19 health form

Activity center

  • For security matters, all of the activities who require a guide will not be available.
  • Enjoy our walking trails. We have 65km of trails available. Our front desk team will be pleased to provide you with our trail map. (upon request)
  • We invite you to enjoy our beautiful beach and all of our nautical equipment: Paddleboards, Kayak, Canoe
  • Every nautical equipment and safety vests are disinfected after each usage.
  • We strongly recommend you to bring your own safety vest if it is possible
  • Our beach chairs are disinfected on a regular basis
