Arrival in a Rabaska
Make a grand arrival to the private beach of the hotel. Let your guests be surprised by dropping them off at less than 2 km away from the hotel by road and let them board a rabaska. They will have to paddle about 20 minutes to get at the hotel and then discover this place nestled in the woods. And why not plan a little refreshment when they set foot on land?
The Rabaska Excursion
Step back in time: do as the fur traders of the seventeenth and eighteenth century did and discover Sacacomie Lake in a large canoe. Once built in bark, the rabaska can carry up to 12 people. Make a stopover shore side and enjoy a homemade wintergreen tea prepared by your guide. On your trip back do not forget to sing to keep the pace.
